ABOUT US

Hi guys! Nice to meet you all. My name is Su Jin :)

Grace and I are cousins (our fathers are siblings) and since I am older than Grace, she calls me 'unni'

Grace and I decided to make this blog because we noticed a lot of you out there love Korean culture like Kpop, Kdrama, Korean foods and many more! We can't thank enough you guys for this :D

So before we posts bunch of posts, we would like to have a little introducing session here so we all get to know about each other!
This is pretty embarrassing but I would like to introduce myself as a multi-entertainer! (Oh Yeah)
For more stories please keep reading!

My family and I moved to Shanghai in the year of 2002.
I went to SHANGHAI INTERNATIONAL HIGHSCHOOL DIVISION which is pretty famous there, and learned Mandarin and English. But currently I'm living in Korea :)

For college, I went back to Korea and studied Nail Art (plus Cosmetic Studies) at EULJI UNIVERSITY –BEAUTY ART. For this blog I will be posting many things about beauty products and beauty tips (such as how to whiten your skin and etc) so please stay tuned! lol.

It is crucial to prove your skill in Korea before you share your tips and information, which is why I prepared my very own career profile!

I attended a Scalp Care Competition while I was in College, and won a third place! Since then I started attending as many competitions as possible.

After I graduated from college I worked in KOREA's LOTTE DUTY FREE in management department. Here I am planning to share some tips so you can purchase Korean products at low prices, so please wait for that as well!

I've worked in a hair salon too (not as a stylist though, I was a manager), since I love hairstyling.

Most of you might already know, Korea is really famous with several things such as K-pop, K-drama, K-fashion, Cosmetics, Plastic Surgery and Hairstyling!

Korean hair salons are really good at creating natural hairstyles that are easy to manage.

I noticed a lot of Chinese and Indonesian girls have wavy hair which I believe a lot of them want to straighten their hair. There is a hairstyling technique called 'volume- magic' in Korea, and I'm sure a lot of you will like it!

This hairstyle doesn't straighten 'too much' but gives a natural touch by giving a little volume at the edge of your hair!  I will make a post about this hairstyle too!

Just keep in mind that I have so many things to share with you all.
I hope you guys visit this blog often and get a lot of inspiration through our posts.

So that's all from me! Thanks!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey guys! This is Grace!

Though I'm a South Korean, I'm telling you I am no different from normal Indonesians, because I was born here! Haha. I'm so excited to do this blog about Korean-Indonesian Culture with my beloved sister.

Here in this blog we would like to talk about Korean Cultures PLUS Indonesian Cultrues (and yes, I am soooo excited).
Su Jin will be posting about Korean Cultures and beauty tips and I will be talking about Indonesian Cultures or simply just about my daily life here in Indonesia.

For high school I went to Springfield International Curriculum School located in Cibubur Indonesia. I learned Indonesian and English here.

I really liked reading fashion magazines and designing clothes since I was in Primary School. During my high school years I took a sewing course and learned how to make clothes.

Right after the second year in High School I went to ESMOD Jakarta to study fashion design and patern drafting. It was a crazy period but I learned so many valuable things both in art's and business' perspective.

This is a picture of me on my graduation day with my younger sister.

This is my final project for my graduation show.

Right after I graduate from ESMOD Jakarta I continued studying in University of Indonesia to study Bahasa at BIPA (It's like a course for foreigners to learn foreigners).

Right after I finished my course in UI I worked at a wedding dress factory (can you imagine?!) located in Parung. I was a designer slash a supervisor there.

I'm also planning to post things about fashion or styling tips along with other posts, so I'm just telling you it's going to be very fun!

Right now I am planning to create my own fashion line (which is going to take a long, long time haha) but while doing it, of course I will be running this blog with my Su Jin as well!
Please visit our blog often,
I'm pretty sure there will be a lot of interesting things that can inspire you!
That's all from me! Many Thanks!
